18th February 2009 – Mod Wars events

Calling all orbsters!

We’d just like to remind you all (or inform those of you who don’t yet know) that we will be holding a couple of Mod Wars events this Friday and Saturday.

On Friday, 20th February, members of the FunOrb development team will be staying at Jagex HQ after work, with the sole intent of eating pizza and playing FunOrb games against anyone who dares to take them on. Feel free to log in to your favourite FunOrb games and challenge one of the J Mods any time after 5pm GMT (9am PST).

Then, on Saturday, 21st February, a score of J Mods from Player Support will be running a late-night Mod Wars from 11pm GMT (3pm PST). The more players that log in to take us on during these events, the longer the events will last, and the more pizza (and cookies) the J Mods will get to consume. We look forward to seeing you in game.

If you don’t already have them, this also might be a good opportunity to earn Pool’s Feel of Money Achievement and Zombie Dawn Multiplayer’s Mutant Strain Achievement, by beating a J Mod.

FunOrb’s First Birthday!

FunOrb has been around for a while now, but you might be surprised how long. On the 27th FunOrb will be celebrating it’s first birthday, which is certainly an achievement for Jagex. In FunOrb’s news-post ‘The Future of FunOrb’ Jagex promised some new updates, including a ‘new look’ to the site, and the long awaited upgrade to the Achievement System, as well as expansion packs for members in single player games.

Jagex have also stated, that they’ll ‘focus on larger, more engaging games’ which will mean that content won’t be released every 2 weeks like before. This has come as a shock to some, but to many, this is good news, as it means the games will be of a better quality.

FunOrb World is very keen to celebrate FunOrb’s first year in service, and are planning to host an event for the FunOrb world members, details of which will follow shortly.

Introduction

Flea Circus was created by Andrew Gower in February 2000 (before RuneScape), making it by far the oldest game in FunOrb. The aim of the game is to “rescue” a certain number of fleas by getting them to a destination. Players do this by placing left and right slopes or blocks at various places around the map.
With the transferal of the game to FunOrb, a score feature has been added, based on the number of fleas that are rescued, and the speed at which this is done. The old passwords have become the names of the levels, and the old game has become the “classic set”.
Jagex have also added a “new set” of flea circus levels, for additional gameplay fun. It is generally accepted that it is far easier to get a high score on the new set than the classic one.

The first 15 levels of the new set and the entirety of the classic set are available to free players.

Objects in Flea Circus

Image Name Description
fleacircus_guide_icon_wall1
fleacircus_guide_icon_wall2
fleacircus_guide_icon_wall3
Walls These are the 3 different types of wall. They are the things that fleas usually travel over. They cannot travel through them, or up the sides, but usually go over the top. They are harmless unless you accidentally trap your fleas with them.
The object marked as “block” is a wall – which you can place on any blank space in the level.
fleacircus_guide_icon_leftslope Left Slopes Left slopes are the second object you can place. Fleas will move up or down them, making these useful for accessing new heights within a level. They are completely harmless.
fleacircus_guide_icon_rightslope Right Slopes Right slopes are the same as left slopes, just going the opposite direction.
fleacircus_guide_icon_entrance Entrance This flashing box is the entrance. It is from here that the fleas will enter the level. They head downwards until they hit an impassable object, at which point they will try to head to the left. Entrances act like a wall, and are completely harmless.
fleacircus_guide_icon_destination Destination This flashing box is the destination. It is here that you are trying to get your fleas to. The fleas can enter it from any direction. It is (obviously) harmless.
fleacircus_guide_icon_water Water Water is an obstacle to avoid. Fleas that touch water from any angle will drown and die.
Watch out for water in the following levels:
new: 2, 5, 9, 12, 16, 19, 24, 25, 26, 28, 31, 32, 33, 36, 37, 38
classic: 1, 2, 4, 5, 6, 7, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 17, 18, 20, 21, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30
fleacircus_guide_icon_spikes Spikes Spikes should also be avoided. Fleas that touch spikes die (except if you approach them from underneath). Unlike water, which is often in holes, spikes usually stick out upwards from the surrounding area.
Be careful to avoid letting your fleas be skewered by spikes in the following levels:
new: 3, 5, 7, 13, 19, 24, 28, 29, 31, 32, 34, 35, 37, 40, 41
classic: 1, 2, 3, 8, 9, 10, 13, 14, 15, 18, 20, 21, 22, 25, 26, 27, 28
fleacircus_guide_icon_spider Spiders Spiders are also deadly – they eat your fleas! Fortunately, they are only a threat if your flea passes directly underneath them, and even then only if it isn’t being blown by a fan (see below). All the same, best to watch out for them and avoid.
Don’t let your fleas be munched for lunch on the following levels:
new: 10, 25, 28, 32, 33, 34, 37, 40
classic: 3, 6, 15, 16, 17, 20, 24, 25, 27, 28, 29
fleacircus_guide_icon_blueswitch Blue switches Blue switches, when flipped, cause all the barriers in the level (see below) to vanish. When flipped, a blue switch will vanish, and the flea that switched it will act as though the switch didn’t exist. Blue switches are harmless, unless the barriers were protecting a flea from danger.
fleacircus_guide_icon_greenswitch Green Switches Green switches, like blue switches, vanish when flipped. They trigger all recessed walls (see below) to come forward. Be careful when triggering a green switch as they can prove deadly. Flipping a green switch could make a level impossible to complete.
fleacircus_guide_icon_recessedwall Recessed walls Recessed walls can be passed through by fleas until a green switch (see above) is flipped. When this occurs, they slide out to become walls, and any flea in the way at the time is killed. You cannot build anything over a recessed wall.
fleacircus_guide_icon_barrier Barriers Barriers act like walls until a blue switch is flipped, at which point they vanish. They are also occasionally referred to as golden walls.
fleacircus_guide_icon_1touchwall One-touch walls One-touch walls act like a wall initially, but the first time a flea touches one, it vanishes.
fleacircus_guide_icon_bridges Bridges Bridges act like a ground surface initially, but after a flea passes over them, they vanish. These are almost always there just to irritate you – a job that they will do well.
fleacircus_guide_icon_antigravity Anti-gravity Anti-gravity reverses the direction of gravity – affecting balloons (see below) and the direction fleas fall in. Be careful when sending a flea into one of these – it could cause other fleas to fall into spikes or water.
fleacircus_guide_icon_balloon Balloons Balloons lift the first flea to touch them up to the next landing pad above the balloon. If gravity is reverse, the balloon travels down instead.
fleacircus_guide_icon_landingpad Balloon landing pads Balloons take fleas to landing pads. If gravity is normal, the flea will land on the top of the landing pad, and run off from there. If gravity is reversed, the flea will bounce off the pad the instant it touches it.
fleacircus_guide_icon_trapdoor Trapdoors Trapdoors look a bit like landing pads, but are very different. Any flea that touches a trapdoor will fall through to whatever is underneath. Quite often, the flea will not be able to escape. NOTE that you cannot build anything under a trapdoor, and that it is a one-way door.
Bomb When a flea touches these, they blow up, destroying everything within a square of the bomb – except for fleas. Care should be taken as it is likely that what the flea is traveling on should be destroyed too – sometimes along with items that are necessary to complete the level.
Fan These blow fleas away from them until they hit an object that prevents them from traveling further. Fleas cannot be killed by spiders or water when blown by a fan, but you can still be affected by spikes.
Springs Springs only affect the fleas directly on top of them. A spring will bounce a flea upwards until it hits a barrier of some kind, at which point it will start to fall. Bombs are not counted as barriers, but slopes, walls, barriers, trapdoors, and, on occasion, other fleas, do. If a flea comes into contact with the effects of a fan after having bounced on a spring, it will be blown away by the fan. Otherwise a flea will come straight back down again, unless another flea knocks it onto an adjacent square. Springs only have an effect on fleas directly on top of them, and can only bounce one flea at a time.
fleacircus_guide_icon_teleporter Teleporter Teleporters come in pairs. If a flea enters either teleporter, it will come out of the other one heading in the same direction still. This is unless that side of the other teleporter has been blocked by something, in which case the fleas will simply bounce back as though the teleporter was a wall. If one of the pair of teleporters has been destroyed, the other will act just like a wall.

Pixelate Review

Date of first draft: 1st August 2008

Dates of edits:
- 18/02/2009 Added to website.

On July 30, 2008, Jagex Ltd. released their newest multi-player game to the FunOrb community, called “Pixelate.” It is in the Genre “Puzzle” and is a very unique game compared to other games Jagex has released. Load the game and you’ll come up to the welcome screen, shown below.

pixelate_review_1

At the welcome screen, you are able to start a single-player game by yourself. There are other things that you have the ability to do at the welcome screen, but we’ll go over those after we go over single-player games.

Whilst clicking the button to start your own single-player game, you have the option of picking one of two modes to play your game in. They are “puzzle” mode and “challenge” mode. If it’s your first time ever playing this game, I would suggest playing the “challenge” mode because it gives you a small tutorial on the basics of the game and how to play it. The pictures below will show you what the game looks like, along with some instructions on what to do.

pixelate_review_2

pixelate_review_3

pixelate_review_4

As you can see, the little boxes will tell you exactly how the game works, and what you’re supposed to do to complete certain levels. Your goal of the game is to arrange the tiles given to you to make your picture that you’re making match the picture that is displayed in the middle. You can use the arrow keys to move the tile around the board. (Alternate W, A, S, and D) You are also able to press the “Control” button on your keyboard to turn your given piece 90 degrees in a clockwise motion. (Alternate Key = X)

If you can see the black area outside of the grid on the second picture, that means that you can put any color tile you want there, and it won’t affect your final project. The only thing that counts in the game is the area that is white. Use the black area appropriately and to your advantage.

The tutorial in my opinion is very express and very laid out. You are easily able to see what you need to do via the information boxes, and you are given tiles that correlate to the grid fairly much. This makes the tutorial go by smoothly and to prevent as much confusion as possible. The challenge mode itself is quite bland however, I think it’s a little too broad and just, there isn’t very much to do with it and not really a challenge, it’s just get the grid before the time runs out.

The other mode you’re able to play is called the “puzzle” mode. The object of the game is to represent the image shown on the left on your grid. The catch is that you only get a select amount of tiles to do it in. Think wisely! There are a total of 50 choices of puzzles that you can complete, and you don’t need to complete any of the puzzles in a particular order, you can do any of the 50 puzzles as you wish.

pixelate_review_5

(The Choices you have for puzzle mode, you get a check mark next to each puzzle that you have currently completed)

In my opinion, the Puzzle mode of Pixelate is excellent, it offers the experience of a challenge. It also is available to all experience levels and provides a moderately difficult puzzle for everyone.

That pretty much sums up the single-player version of this game. But that’s not all, there’s still many other features associated with this game.

When you’re at the welcome screen, you also have the option to enter the multi-player lobby. I have submitted a picture of the lobby below.

pixelate_review_6

In the lobby, you’re able to create your own unrated game, where you\’re able to race other players to complete a pre-selected amount of puzzles, with an easy, medium, and hard difficulty. A full list of the options you’re able to choose is shown below.

pixelate_review_7

If you’re subscribed for FunOrb, you’ll also have the ability to play rated games. The difference between rated and unrated games is that you’re able to raise or lower your rating from the default 1,000. You’re rating will increase if you race your opponent and get a higher score than them at the end of the selected amount of pictures. By completing a picture, you get 1,200 points added to your total score. If your opponent completes a picture before you do, you get a score of 0-916 points depending on how much of the picture you have completed in the same amount of time. A high rating is always great.

At the end of one game, you’ll always get a game ending screen, showing how many points you and your opponent have obtained, and who won the game. Refer to the picture below.

pixelate_review_8

While setting up games, you have the ability to pick whether you do 5, 10, or 20 pictures. You also have the ability to select whether you want an easy round, medium round, or hard round. Below are the definitions for each. You are also able to choose whether you will allow spectators to watch your game. Those all have the option “don’t mind” which you can use which will make you find an opponent quicker.

Easy – Blocks fall at a slow speed onto a small grid.
Medium – Blocks fall at a moderate speed onto a medium sized grid.
Hard – Blocks fall rapidly onto a large grid.

In the lobby, you’re also able to spectate games, you can do this by finding a game on the games list and hitting “spectate.” Please note that some people prefer not to have spectators into their games, and you’ll see that you will not be able to spectate their games.

That sums up the multi-player part of this game. I’d have to rate this part a 9/10. It’s overall pretty excellent. All I wish they would have is a lobby chat box for those who are spectating games. Other than that, the multi-player portion is spectacular.

Apart from the games, there are a number of other things that you can change to optimize your game experience. You’re able to change your music and sound options. Some people prefer listening to audio while playing this game. While other people prefer to have it dead silent while racing their opponents.

There are also two detail modes that you’re able to change, one of them is high-detail mode and the other one is low-detail mode. The high-detail mode offers better graphics but uses more computer memory, this could be slow for some computers. The low-detail mode doesn’t offer as good of graphics as the high-detail mode, but your computer will run faster with these enabled.

pixelate_review_9

If you are a member, you’re also able to convert over to fullscreen mode. This mode makes the game screen cover your whole computer screen. This may be an advantage for those who like to see things bigger. It might not work very well if you like to switch windows and other things of the sort.

You’re also able to view rankings among your friends in challenge mode. There are 10 ranks and the top 10 scores out of everyone on your friends will be on there.

There is also a button where you can view your achievements, you earn achievements by doing special things through the challenge mode area of the game. You can do pretty much everything to earn an achievement, it may help to read the descriptions of the achievements before you try to achieve one so you know what you’ll be achieving.

pixelate_review_10

Also, the music on this game is tremendously excellent. I love the music in my opinion, it’s something you don’t hear much which gives it more sentimental value.

Overall I’d rate Pixelate a 9/10. The only reason why I wouldn’t give it a 10/10 is because of the reasons mentioned above. It’s a great game and I encourage you all try it. It stretches your brain and gets you much better at solving puzzles. It might even give you some advantage in real life. That’s why you need to try it. Try Pixelate today!

Official Description

The undead apocalypse has arrived…but, fortunately, you’re the one in charge! Command your zombie horde through 24 brain chomping levels of puzzle-ing mayhem, with the sole aim of storming the White House and conquering humanity. Zombie Dawn is full of action, strategy, puzzles and sheer undead fun.

First Impression

The game may seem a bit weird and complicated at first, but when you understand how to play it, it can be very enjoyable. It can be hard to control your minions and get you objectives completed quickly, but as you progress through the game, you’ll understand it a bit better and it gradually starts to become more fun.

zombiedawn_review_1

Gameplay

Finding out new ways of completing levels can be very fun, as well as playing the game in general. Where there are tricky situations, solving them on your own adds to the fun as well! Even if you fail to complete a level, you can start again, but you have a maximum of 3 tries. The power-ups also offer new ways of playing the game and some interesting ways of achieving your goal, to zombify every living human on each level.

zombiedawn_review_2

Graphics

The graphics of this game are really good. Although they aren’t 3D, they still have a lot of good detail in them and this makes the game look really good. The graphics of the people on the introduction are really good as well.

zombiedawn_review_3

Music

The music is good. There aren’t down sides for this part of the game. It fits the game quite nicely.

Recommended Skills

To play this game effectively, you don’t really need to have really good skills in anything. Basic, good strategic skills would be helpful in being successful in this game, but other than that, you don’t need to be very good in other skills.

Introduction

Zombie Dawn is an action, strategy, puzzle game, that agility and wits are required in every level. The main point of the game is to turn all the humans in that level into zombies, with the least number of zombies dying as possible. The game contains different humans, some which will shoot you, and some that will just run away from you. Along with having the control over a army of zombies, there will be power-ups in some levels to aid on your destruction.

Gameplay

How to select a zombie:
Zombie Dawn consists of using your mouse to move the zombie(s) around. You can select one zombie by simply clicking it with the left clicker, and click to where you want it to move.

How to select a group of zombies:
You can select a group of zombies by clicking and holding the left clicker over a free space and sliding over a group of zombies and letting go of the clicker. When you have selected your zombies you simply left click on the place you want them to go. If you want to add another zombie to the group of zombies you already have in control simply hold ‘ctrl’ and click on the zombie. If you want to take control of all zombies in the level hit ‘ctrl’ and ‘A’ at the same time.

The interface:
zombiedawnjp

Shows how many humans are left in the level:
zombiedawnhumans-1

Shows how many zombie(s) you have in control. If it hits 0 you lose the level:
zombiedawnzombie2

The time limit, once it hits 0:00 army soldiers will come in:
zombiedawntime

Power-ups:
* Curse – instantly turns one human into a zombie
* Detonate – explodes your zombie and anything else near it
* Disguise – humans won’t run away…until it’s too late
* Meltdown – your zombie melts into a pool of sticky goo, slowing humans down
* Phantom – leaves a ghostly imprint that humans treat as a real zombie
* Screech – roots humans to the spot in fear, for 15 seconds
* Speed – doubles the shambling speed of your zombie
* Tough – it will take three shots to kill a tough zombie

Humans:
* Mallrats: Easy humans to get, just make sure they have nowhere to run.
* Bat Man and Bag Girl: They knock back your zombies, but only one at a time.
* Gangsters: Shoots zombies but they aren’t that accurate; only shoot when cornered.
* Scientist: Slower than Mallrats, so they shouldn’t be any problem.
* Police: Have more accuracy and carry more ammo than Gangsters.
* Detective: Have more ammo than Police and they run much faster.
* Men in Black: Fire fast, feels no fear, runs faster, and carries enough bullets to waste
a legion of zombies.
* Soldiers: Spawns when your time hits 0:00, you probably lost if they are coming.

Levels

The Mall:
Introduction: Easiest level, tells you how to take control and move the zombie(s).

Lower Mall: Start by killing the guy in the blue suit (easiest to get first.) When getting the humans in the store keep one zombie at the door, so they don’t exit. For last guy just separate your forces and send some to the top and the others to the bottom side.

Sports Store: First power-up appears, the Detonate power-up. Simply place one of your zombies in front of the store’s doors, make sure there is only one zombie there, the rest should keep a good distance away. Click on the power-up than then click on the zombie that you want to explode, the doors will explode leaving an opening for your zombie(s). The first Bat Boy is there simply turn the other humans into zombies before you go after him.

Supermarket: Remember take over the easiest you see which is the lady wearing purple in the dark room. Now you can go for the Bag Girl since you have two zombies. The Speed power-up is in the middle of the store, simply use it on a zombie to make it move twice as fast. The trick of this level is to try to get the humans cornered, shouldn’t be too bad.

Upper Mall: Disguise power-up, and Screech power-up appear. Use the Disguise power-up on one of your zombies and walk to the middle of the humans. Then you can use the Screech power-up on the Disguise zombie. The Humans will be all in fear but be fast because it only last 15 seconds. Note: When a zombie is Disguise it will fight some urge to attack a human, but its not completely gone, so don’t get to close if you are not ready.

The Cinema: Retrieve the Disguise power-up and use it on a zombie(I suggest placing a zombie on the door where the Gangsters are located for a second to make them go back a little.) Now retrieve the Detonate power-up (don’t get too close to the Gangsters, you can leave them for the end.) Pick a zombie and place them in front of the doors and use the Detonate power-up on it (remember to keep your other zombies far enough, and I suggest using a zombie that doesn’t have the Disguise power-up.) Now take over all the humans expect the two Gangsters. Once you have taken over all the humans you can return to the Gangsters, make all the zombies go in at the same time so the Gangsters die faster.

Bonus Level: Try to turn as many humans as you can into zombies, if you get all 250 humans you unlock the American Consumer achievement. To start off separate your forces and corner people down, the bigger your army gets the easier it will be.

Power Plant:
To be completed…

Achievements:

Free to play:
* Legless: Get a score of 2,000
* Mostly Armless: Get a score of 5,000
* Braaaains: Get a score of 10,000
* American Consumer: Assimilate all 250 humans on the mall bonus level.
* Undead end: Get 50 zombies across the road on the power plant bonus level.
* Bullet Catcher: Assimilate an army soldier
* Plague Spreader: Complete the mall levels
* Generation 2: Complete the power plant on hard.

Pay to play:

Official Description

When monkeys and puzzles combine, it can mean only one thing: Monkey Puzzle is back! Bigger, badder and with more monkeys, Monkey Puzzle 2 is an entirely new game!

Clear all the monkeys on the level before the water rises too high, but watch out for giant spiders, obstructing blocks and the downright strange heavy nuts.

This is a comprehensive re-imagining of the original title, with tons of extra content. With 20 brand new levels spread over four worlds, it will have you hooked all the way to the end. Even those who experienced the original will want to give this game a try.

First Impression

The game seems easy at first, but it soon increases in difficulty. Even if some nuts do get in your way, there should be some nuts of the same colour that will appear soon for you to use, meaning that you should be able to clear them if they’re blocking you from reaching the monkeys you need to eliminate.

monkeypuzzle2gameplay

Gameplay

Clearing the monkeys can be a challenging task, but overcoming this contributes to the game’s fun factor. You can learn new techniques to get around nuts as you improve your skill of shooting at the correct angle. It increases in difficulty through the game, but this adds to the excitement.

monkeypuzzle2gameplay2

Graphics

The graphics of the game are really good. The detail of the leaves at the main menu, and the rain is especially pleasing. This is one of the very good factors of this game. The map’s graphics are good too.

monkeypuzzle2graphic

Music

Goes very well with the game theme.

Recommended Skills

To get the most out of this game and progress to higher levels, good judement as to where an object will go based on its shape and the angle it is fired is recommended.

Overall Rating: 7/10.

A New Beginning

FunOrb World began on February 1st 2008. One year on, not much has changed. We have had our fair share of ups and downs. Despite this, our community has continued to be patient and supportive. With activity rapidly declining, we need a change in direction and a touch of determination to retain our title as the original fan site. As the webmaster, I feel that I have failed myself and everyone involved in my attempt to bring FunOrb World to success. My busy lifestyle has caused me to neglect the very websites I pledged to bring forward.

Today, I am pleased to announce the comeback of FunOrb World. I am now carefully organised as to how I spend my time each day, which means I can set aside periods in which to work on the fan sites I am responsible for. The time I have is still short, but as a community we must work together to ensure that our demise is not repeated.

Other responsible staff will be granted access to the website in order to add new content. Measures will be put in place to ensure that FunOrb World is safe from any rouge users who abuse this position.

The new website is still in early stages. There is much to improve and bugs to fix. The forums may receive a lick of paint to match the new design, and plenty of new features are planned.

Meanwhile, pop over to the forums and say hi. Activity isn’t at it’s best, but with your help, we can bring it back once and for all!

11th February 2009 – The Future of FunOrb

Hello, orbsters.

FunOrb is rapidly closing in on its first birthday, and we’d like to give you an insight into some strategic thoughts we have for the future of the service.

We want to make sure that you stop thinking of FunOrb’s releases as “minigames” and start thinking of them as “blockbuster games in a browser”.

Our focus is going to be on delivering games that provide you with long term, in-depth, high quality gameplay (think Arcanists or Armies Of Gielinor, in terms of scale) along with significant expansion packs to our existing titles, like Zombie Dawn: The UK Levels, which will be out within the next few months.

In summary:

  • We think that quality is far, far more important than quantity. We want to make sure our games are as awesome as we can make them before they get released.
  • This focus on larger, more engaging games, means that we won’t be guaranteeing a release every two weeks.
  • Some of the existing single-player games will be updated with expansion packs for members.
  • Most of the current single-player games will be made completely free of charge.
  • We will be updating our most popular multiplayer games on a more regular basis.
  • We will be updating the entire FunOrb Site with a new look and feel, and introducing the promised upgrade to the Achievement system.

Basically, we think that FunOrb is a great site, with great games and a great community. We want to expand on the successes of our first year and get even more people to discover the service. The best way to do this is to produce the very best possible games and content. To quote Jagex CEO, Mod MMG: “If it ain’t awesome, don’t build it!”

We also want to know what you think and, where we can, we’ll explain a little more about what goes into making a FunOrb game. As such, we will be releasing some developer diaries for a few of our up-and-coming games. Most importantly, we want to hear your views on FunOrb, so we will be holding a live developer Q&A on the forums in the coming weeks.

In the meantime, if you have any questions for the FunOrb team, please post them on the thread for this news post in the Announcements forum and we’ll put up our answers on the site next week.

If you’re a free player, you won’t be able to post on the forums, but you can email us at funorbquestions@jagex.com. This email address will work for the next week, so you’ve got plenty of time to get your questions and comments in.

As you can see, there are lots of ongoing developments here at FunOrb, so have fun and we’ll see you in game.

9th February 2009 – Virogrid

This week, FunOrb presents Virogrid, a (completely free) modern interpretation of the old Jagex game Slime Wars, itself based on a classic strategy game. Set in the same Kolonia 1 environment as TetraLink, two players take turns cloning or jumping pieces to capture territory and dominate the grid.

This Othello-esque strategy game is easy to pick up, but hard to master. The game can be played in hotseat or online multiplayer; online games can be either Rated or Unrated. Victory is achieved by having the most pieces left on the board at the end of the game.

You’ll want to play Rated games to earn any Achievements and to improve your ranking, which you can compare with your friends (and all FunOrb players) in the Highscores section of the website.

Enjoy!
